Position Title: Worship & Ministry Resident
Reports To: Director of Worship & Production
Works Closely with: Pastor of Adult Ministry
Position Purpose: Grace Covenant church offers a 2-year educational, personal and ministry leadership development program designed for recent college graduates who want to explore vocational ministry and grow in ministry skills and wisdom. Residents will develop practical ministry skills, learn and grow their spiritual gifts, and initiate and practice healthy ministry habits.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist Worship Planning Team to carefully plan worship services and song selections that complement the overall service
- Lead worship vocally & instrumentally in Sunday morning services
- Lead worship vocally & instrumentally in other ministry settings, including Celebrate Recovery (Thursday evenings)
- Assist with recruiting and developing individuals to potentially join the worship team
- Serve the Worship & Production Team or Communications Team with unique giftedness
(ex. audio, lighting, social media, photography, videography, etc.)
- Serve with Worship & Production on Sunday mornings
- Additional Duties and Responsibilities as Assigned

- Physically fit to meet needs of the job – (navigate stairs, lift 30 lbs)

Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Possess a mature, growing faith as a disciple of Christ
- Articulate a call to full-time ministry
- Agree with, support, and be willing to teach the Statement of Faith and Position Papers of Grace Covenant Church
Job Status:
- Full-Time non-exempt; Paid Benefits, Paid Leave
